An occasional thought

Lately, I’ve been trying to take a look at how I develop forms. Fields need to be validated and it’s always better for the user to be notified on the spot. But what if we can format the users’ fields for them as they fill them out? Then we can avoid possible form – or worse, shopping cart – abandonment.

I wanted to add an easy way for customers at the site to know very quickly whether the client’s office was open or not. At the very least, I wanted today’s hours to be front and center.
